About the Book Year Published: 2016 Page Count: 186 Publisher: Haese Mathematics for Australia 4 has been written for the Australian Curriculum. This is our first spiral bound, write-on workbook. Our aim is to provide the students and teachers with an alternative to photocopied worksheets, which in turn will give the students an organised record of their work throughout the year. The workbook contains a variety of exercises ranging from basic to advanced, to cater for a range of student abilities and interests. The material is presented in a clear, easy-to-follow style, free from unnecessary distraction. Important information and key notes are highlighted while worked examples provide step-by-step instructions and relevant explanations. Each worked example in the book features an animated and voiced explanation on Snowflake. Discussions, Activities, Investigations and Research exercises are used throughout the chapters to develop understanding and problem solving skills and to develop cooperation within group activities and independence for individual tasks. We have endeavoured to provide a stimulating workbook and accompanying interactive material which is accessible through Snowflake, to develop and encourage student understanding and to grow an appreciation and love of mathematics.
