We are currently organising the 2021 AAMT conference. Pedagogical practices will be a key theme of the conference with international speakers from the OECD and the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics. There will also be an opportunity to reflect on the many innovations that have come about as a result of the experience teachers have gained in online education.

MAWA will be hosting a virtual one day conference, allowing educators from regional and remote locations in WA and beyond to access high-quality professional learning.

MAWA will be hosting our annual mathematics conference at Crown Convention Centre. This year we will be including master classes for middle years on Wednesday 17 November. The masterclasses on Bond Blocks, Visible Learning in Mathematics and Mathematical Investigations Years 5-9 will run from 9:00am to 3:00pm. The cost of the masterclasses are $150 for members and $195 for non-members.
